Relay on units is faulty 10/21/2024

I bought this unit 2 times and both times the relay got stuck. Manufacturer warranty goes out several months later and have told them theres a malfunction with the relay and still refuses to repair and replace. Out of pocket for repairs $600.00

this was purchased in august 2023 started having problems with not cooling in April. had 5 different repairmen work on this unit and was finally given a refund in July 2024. after having 1 part replaced three times the compressor and the condenser and it worked for less than 2 weeks when they finally approved the refund

Worked well to start but compressor went out a few weeks ago. Communication between LG authorized technician and LG service department is atrocious. Technician not able to get authorization to fix and I had to file a complaint with LG and am still waiting for the ac/heater to either be fixed or replaced.

2.5 star. Simply because this ac unit doesnt do its intended job. The heater went out within a few months on this product. Its freezing in our home and this is our main source of heat. We have bought small space heaters to help we cant get anyone to help us fix it and our landlord refuses to replace it since the air conditioner part works fine. And I absolutely cant find a filter replacement.

The AC unit was a nice size with great features like the Wi-Fi control from a phone app. It cooled and heated well for 11 months then the AC froze up and leaked all over the floor. I contacted LG and they had no one to service the unit in the central Texas area so they refunded the purchase price after a month and hours on the phone with customers service.

Got this AC about a month ago. Our central air went out and couldnt afford to replace it at this time. Man it is really hot in TX right now so we got this LG 18000 BTU model. It is definitely a downgrade from central but it keeps the living room and kitchen cool. We use smaller models for the bedrooms. I love the ThinQ app. We travel frequently. I love that we can set schedules to turn iit on and off. We turn it off when we leave schedule it to come on on the AM that we are returning. Nice and cool to come home to. You can also adjust temperature mode and fan speed. Love it

I bought this unit almost 3 weeks ago after my old unit compressor started going out during 100+ degree weather. It couldnt keep out living room cool at 68. This new bigger unit keeps our living room dining room kitchen very comfortable at 75 - 77 with the same 100+ temps outside. I can only imagine how much warmer we will be this winter.

We have purchased both units and neither will get cold. They are both 18000btu units. The heater works in both but the AC only gets fan-cool on 60-68 degrees. I am very disappointed because I thought the 1816HR was just leaking freon. I bought it last year in August. We just bought the 1821HRSM yesterday from Home Depot installed it and waited 4hrs for it to get cold before returning home only to find the house is still the same temperature. The only thing that saved us last night was the fact that we had an overcast all day yesterday. I am so intensely upset and disappointed because I have to pay for pickup and delivery three times now and have wasted money paying an installer.

I purchased this in August 2021 at first it cooled nicely and was not very noisy about 90 days later the cooling was not great and it never stopped cycling I called for service and the tech spent maybe 5 to 10 minutes and said nothing was wrong ok next we have some very cool weather in Florida and the unit seemed to barely heat one of the cool day and evening it never stopped running the home did not feel warm oh and that on day/evening electric use was 66 watts Oh once again nothing wrong and after about about 6/7 hours it sounds like a plane engine this is the third LG product I have purchased AND MY LAST they have all been the same great for about 6 months then JUNK GARBAGE
